Henry + Dudley: Boogie Woogies
Boogie Woogies was a relatively young wheat & oat Saison (6 months old at the time of racking) first fermented in Stainless and then refermented in a brand new light toast French oak barrel with ground cherry purée at a rate of ~60:40 beer to purée for seven months. Boogie Woogies was then racked back to stainless for another fermentation, this time atop super pungent passion fruit purée at a rate of 7:1 beer to puree. To increase complexity, we then blended in 10% Brettanomyces bier and 10% mature acid-forward foudre Saison. We bottled Boogie Woogies on 8/15/18 and it hits at 7.0% abv... perfect for sharing with your sweet lil best buddy.
