DDH Simcoe Double Milkshake IPA is yet another riff on our captivating Culinary IPA series, originally dreamt up with our now-and-then-and-forever-into-perpetuity lifemates at Omnipollo. We don’t think we’ve kept it much of a secret over the last 8+ years that the almighty Simcoe is one of, if not THE, favorite hop of ours here in Ardmore =) So we decided to give it the ol’ Shake treatment… Brewed as always with copious amounts of fluffy oat flakes, malted wheat, and lactose sugar, and conditioned atop luscious Madagascar vanilla beans. Intensely dry-hopped with our very choicest US Mosaic and Citra, and secondarily dry hopped to the heavens with the pungent and utterly singular Simcoe from the Pacific Northwest. Notes of copious amounts of orange creamsicles on the beach down the jersey shore with some lime spritz to wash it all down. 9.0% abv.
